| Position Summary | We are looking for candidate for the post of “Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Engineering” at our Head Office. Candidate should have expertise & exposure in hotel chain with in-depth knowledge of MEP/Engineering. |
| Job Responsibilities | ü Review hotel operation and maintenance activities on daily basis for all the hotels across India and other properties
ü Ensuring that the hotels pan India operate as per SOPs set, industry benchmarks and follow the process and procedures as per schedules ü Getting the HLP reports from all the units on daily basis for analysis, highlight the concern unit in-case any deviation ü Focused on planned preventive maintenance activities on regular basis as per schedules ü Renewal of annual maintenance contracts of all essential services like HVAC, Heat pumps, Lifts, DG set, Compliances, Water tank cleaning, fire systems etc ü Finalize technical scope of work, rate negotiation and assist the unit team for releasing Work Orders & Purchase Orders ü Timely attend breakdowns, failures, incidences and restore the systems within minimum down time ü Ensure that units are maintaining Inventories for engineering Tools, Equipment’s, Consumables etc ü Tracking and fulfillment of engineering related compliances like pollution control board, fire system, electricity etc ü Manage health and upkeep of all engineering systems/equipments to increase life span, performance and reduce consumption ü Planning, scheduling and execution of renovations of the hotels as an when required ü Annual budget preparation and review and guidance to the hotels GM’s ü Pre-opening of the hotels & resorts along with operation and project team ü Visit schedule for all hotels to interact with engineering teams, review operations, impart training, receive feedbacks etc ü Checking of mandatory log books, registers and records ü Complaints analysis and corrective actions on it ü Prepare and Present to management MIS on HLP consumption, Work progress, PMP, Inventories, Capex works along with cost/benefit analysis etc ü Co-ordination with unit GM’s and Engineering teams for MEP activities or any kind of assistance ü Co-ordination with unit engineering teams to get the required data, major engineering works or technical guidance ü Co-ordination with project team for smooth handing over of the hotels, scheduling, snagging works etc ü Co-ordination with consultants for timely completion of mandatory compliance requirements by government |
