The Role: Operations Director India
The role requires a self-motivated and highly professional person with a proven record of accomplishment in the specialty chemical industries. The role will be multi-faceted, requiring you to deal with all aspects of the company’s daily operations, including overseeing manufacturing, raw material imports, as well as managing distributor and customer relationships.
Leadership and problem-solving skills are essential qualities for the successful candidate. Successful candidate must be able to grow the organisation and still have the ability to understand and implement a broader corporate view of the business, unlike an organisation with various departments and a lot of people under them to delegate work to, but rather somebody who is capable and wants to build the organisation from where it is now.
The Operations Director will report directly to the Owner/CEO and will assume responsibility for day-to-day operations, and will be expected to deal with diverse situations across all corporate levels.

- Requirement –Degree in Chemistry or Chemical engineering
- Experience -.20 plus years in business development, business strategy, specialty chemicals, preferably having international experience, to be able to understand the corporate nature of companies in the US and Europe.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct daily interface/dialogue with customers
- Liaising with the company’s distributors
- Overseeing importation and export of raw materials and finished products
- Overseeing and liaising with the manufacturing site and toll manufacturers
- Dealing with authorities such as customs, etc
- Communicating with the company’s other global offices
- Dealing with law firms and accountants
- To have a hands-on approach and immerse himself/herself in every detail of the operation, specially in the beginning.
