Job Mandate: Photographer – Film Production
Company Background: Our film production company is committed to creating compelling and engaging content that resonates with audiences worldwide. We are looking for a highly skilled and creative photographer to join our team and help us capture the magic of our productions.
Role Overview: The Photographer will be responsible for capturing images that tell the story of our productions. They will work closely with the Director of Photography and other members of the production team to ensure that the visual style of our productions is consistent and compelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Photography to develop a visual style for our productions
- Capture high-quality images that showcase the story and characters of our productions
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all images align with the overall creative vision of the project
- Use a range of equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software, to produce high-quality photographs
- Attend rehearsals, location scouts, and other pre-production meetings to ensure that all necessary shots are captured
- Ensure that all images are properly backed up and stored for future use
- Edit and retouch images to ensure that they meet the quality standards of the company
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in photography or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional photography experience, with a focus on commercial or film photography
- Extensive knowledge of photography equipment and software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
