Overview:

As the Vice President of Cloud Sales for South India, you will be responsible for leading and managing the company’s cloud sales strategy and execution in the region. You will work closely with the executive team, sales team, and other key stakeholders to drive revenue growth, build strong relationships with customers and partners, and ensure the company’s continued success in the cloud market in South India.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s cloud sales strategy, including go-to-market plans, target markets, and sales tactics.
  • Lead the regional cloud sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure the team is meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, and leverage those relationships to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the company’s cloud offerings meet customer needs and are competitive in the marketplace.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the cloud sales budget and forecast, ensuring that the team is meeting financial targets and that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Ensure that the team is following best practices and adhering to ethical and legal standards in all sales activities.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to represent the company and build relationships with potential customers and partners in South India.

. Experience in OEM sales (VMware / CITRIX / Microsoft / AWS) required

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in cloud sales or related technology sales.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams and achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, including infrastructure, platform, and software as a service (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
