Fundraising Manager Job Description

Searching for an experienced fundraising manager with excellent leadership skills and networking abilities. The fundraising manager will be responsible for building good relationships with prospective donors and clients across multiple sectors, communicating with the broader public and internal teams, delegating tasks, and drawing up plans to ensure annual targets are met. Manager should be well organized, proactive, and have the ability to inspire.

 

Primarily Responsibility:

Team Building

  1. Location wise Team Hiring and Training with the help of In-house Training team
  2. Head of retail Fundraising should work on the Fundraising Team productivity Index matrix. Which is Donation, On-board Quality Donor and Process Implementation.
  3. Head of retail Fundraising should work on continuous team progress and should engage in periodic team review.

 

Fundraising & Business Development:

  1. Head of retail Fundraising should develop fundraising strategy in line with the organisation’s business plan through the Location wise Team.
  2. Strengthen and increase portfolio of donors.
    1. Every FR should acquire 5 donors every working days.
    2. ADS ( Avg Donor Subcription) Should be Rs 750
  3. Manage a pipeline of potential and live opportunities.
  4. Developing and managing key partner and client relationships
  5. Lead on the growth and management of our supporter network through community fundraising and individual givings
  6. Conduct research and market analysis on funding and partnership opportunities
  7. Develop Revenue stream, like Segmented Donation or community building: Profession segmentation, like Doctors, Lawyers, Automobiles etc, Community building activities : like Residential community, Common professional Community etc. Should develop MSMEs or Industrial Areas.

Audit and Review

  1. Head of Retail Fundraising should validate their business vertical donation.
  2. Head of Retail Fundraising must audit all the processes. Like, Work allowances, Attendance process, Donation validation process etc.
  3. Head of Retail Fundraising should manage and maintain fundraising database.

Outreach Fundraising Event

  1. Head of Retail Fundraising should coordinate with Outreach Manager and Hire Event location for fundraising. It could be FOS or Paid.
  2. Head of Retail Fundraising should work on Return on Investment (ROI) of all outreach Fundraising permission.

Team Engagement:

  1. Head of Retail Fundraising Should work on the Employee Productivity Index through Training.
  2. Head of Retail Fundraising Should develop ”Work With” model in team.
  3. Head of Retail Fundraising Should engage in Career progression of the Team.
  4. Head of Retail Fundraising Should work on Employee Development program.

 

Technical and Professional Skills

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can applied to a range of audiences.
  2. Excellent organisational and time management skills
  3. Excellent IT and presentation skills (including Windows, MSOffice and CRM databases)
  4. Excellent writing and editing skills
  5. Fluent written and spoken English
  6. Strong research and data analysis skills

 

Education and Qualification:

  1. Relevant degree
  2. Demonstrable qualifications in the field of Healthcare, business development are preferable.

 

Experience, Knowledge and Understanding

  1. Total Exp – 10 to 12 Years.
  2. Five or Six (5 – 6) years of experience in relevant Field.
  3. Previous experience in a business development or fundraising role as Process Manager or Team Manger.
  4. Previous experience of business development/ fundraising in the charity sector.

Internal Interaction

  1. Work closely with the Senior Management Team in all areas of work as needed, including Development, Evaluation, Marketing and Finance.
  2. Support with Policy Review, keeping Policies and Procedure up-to-date and compliant to changes in legislation.
  3. Should have good interpersonal skills coupled with functional and cross zonal team interaction. Will help in facilitating day to day activities.

 

External Interaction

External Interactions – (Outside the Organization) The role requires extensive interaction with institutional partners, donors, so that the business parameters are achieved as per way of working.
